IPAF stands for the International Powered Access Federation and is a not-for-profit organisation run to safeguard employers and employees whilst working with powered access. Most companies are now realising the necessity of training and many site managers will not allow personnel to operate equipment without the relevant training and qualifications. As a trained holder of a PAL card (IPAF) you will have a qualification awarded by an internationally recognised body. Over 50,000 candidates attend IPAF training courses a year, showing their significance and effectiveness at preventing accidents and mishaps whilst working on powered access.
Both employers and employees need to meet the criteria set out in "The Health And Safety At Work Act 1974," WAHR, LOLER, PUWER, PPE and RIDDOR directives. Our aim is to provide the knowledge to work safely, providing accredited courses recognized nationally and to give value for money at all times. We are committed to the safety of today's work force and those of the future.
Note: All training complies with ISO 18878 EUROPE 89/655/EEC+95/63/EEC (A7 and A5)
